Actress Nadia Rashad Announces Her Retirement from Acting: “I Do Not Welcome Calls from Any Colleague”

Al-Taj News – Egyptian actress Nadia Rashad announced that she is stepping away from the entertainment industry, confirming that she has stopped acting and writing screenplays, through a post on her official Facebook account.

Nadia Rashad wrote in her post: “To everyone concerned, I no longer act or write screenplays, and I do not welcome a call from any colleague, despite my respect for everyone. I am proud of what I have presented and I have had enough.”

The message did not include a specific reason for the decision, as the actress only confirmed that she had stopped acting and writing screenplays and addressed her colleagues in the entertainment industry, asking them not to contact her regarding new projects.

Nadia Rashad is considered one of the well-known faces in Egyptian drama. She began her artistic career early and participated in television, radio, theater, and film productions over the course of decades.
